Ratings & Reviews
5.0From 3 customer reviews
Moved from a launch PS5 to the Slim for a smaller living-room setup and it fits under the TV without dominating the space. The 1TB drive is a sensible bump over the original. Disc drive is quieter than I expected, and the whole unit runs cool.

At this price, with a disc drive and a full 1TB, there is no reason to look at anything else. Spider-Man 2, God of War Ragnarök, and Demon's Souls all run beautifully. Setup was under fifteen minutes including account transfer from my PS4.

Everything I wanted from a PS5 with a smaller footprint. The detachable disc drive is clever engineering I can swap to digital if I ever move to a smaller apartment. Controller battery is the same as ever, but the haptics on Astro's Playroom still make me grin.
